About Us
Three generations working together at The Hilli Goat

A Family Run Business Since 2012
The Hilli Goat Is a labour of love for the Ryves & Sanders Family
Emily was the driving forse behind the idea after watching a documentry on TV.
She then set out on a Churchill fellowship in 2011 working and learning on Dairy Goat Farms in Australia.
In 2013 Zach and Emily’s Son Charlie Finn arrived and so did the initial 4 Does and 1 Buck, flown in from Australia on the passenger flight. The Hilli Goats are the only Goats on Norfolk Island making themĀ a very isolated and unique herd. Very popular with Locals and Tourists alike, our friendly girls will melt your heart with thier gentle happy disposistion and quirky personalities.
A Way of Life, Not a lifestyle Choice
On Norfolk Island we live seasonally and sustainabilly. We eat what we grow and Fish for only what we need. All the produce is grown in Season and picked when it’s ripe, the flavour in our produce is intense. At The Hilli Goat we love to invite guests into our home and let them experience the true taste of Norfolk. A combination of the daily picking from our veggie garden, Artisan Breads and Hilli Goat Cheese as well as fresh Norfolk Fish and Hilli desserts to conclude. Gaumet food severed at our Kitchen Table.
